Important Cooperation Visit Between Istanbul Gelisim University and University of Ruse Angel Kanchev


The close cooperation between Istanbul Gelisim University and the University of Ruse Angel Kanchev in Bulgaria was further strengthened with an important visit to Istanbul Gelisim University. During this visit, which took place within the scope of Erasmus+ staff mobility, IGU's guests were Mr. Krasimir Koev, Ana Popova and Yuliana Popova.



The visit took place in a very warm atmosphere under the coordination of IGU's International Exchange and Cooperation. IECO Assistant Specialist Duygu Can and IECO Assistant Specialist, IECO Assistant Murat Emre Şensoy gave a presentation introducing IGU and answered the questions of the incoming staff sincerely.

The guests from University of Ruse Angel Kanchev also introduced their schools and exchanged information. This contributed to further strengthening the relationship between the two universities.

After the meeting and presentation, the guests were welcomed by IECO Assistant Specialist Pınar Aleyna Doğan.
Accompanied by our assistant Murat Emre Şensoy, they took a tour of the IGU campus. During this tour different areas of Istanbul Gelisim University were introduced and detailed information about the wide range of opportunities of our university was presented. At the same time, the exchange of information between the two universities continued throughout the tour.

Ms. Yuliana Popova, Ana Popova and Krasimir Koev had a pleasant conversation with our rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin at IGU's Tower building and expressed their good wishes for the continuity of cooperation between the two institutions and potential future agreements.

Istanbul Gelisim University continues to strengthen its international relations under the Erasmus+ program and is pleased to welcome guests from different countries.
