International Exchange and Cooperation Office (IECO) continues to strengthen international collaborations under the Erasmus+ agreements. It aims to enhance these agreements through strategic partnerships, particularly with two prestigious state universities in Romania.
The agreements with Universitatea Nationala de Stiinta si Tehnologie Politehnica Bucuresti in Bucharest and Universitatea Transilvania din Braşov in Braşov focus on collaboration in the fields of Child Development, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration, and Logistics Management. These agreements provide opportunities for student exchange programs and various collaborative activities in academic fields.
With these new collaborations, Istanbul Gelisim University has increased its number of agreements with Romania to 14. Istanbul Gelisim University aims to provide students with a broad perspective through these strategic partnerships, intending to enhance cross-cultural experiences, play a more effective role internationally, and contribute to students' specialization in their respective fields.
One of our new partners, Universitatea Nationala de Stiinta si Tehnologie Politehnica Bucuresti, established in 1818 in the capital city of Bucharest, is a state university and holds the distinction of being Romania's largest technical university. Universitatea Transilvania din Braşov, founded in 1948 in Braşov in the country's center, is another prestigious state university.
Through these initiatives, IECO not only strengthens ties with Romania but also enhances its influence in the international arena, especially among other Balkan countries. With future collaborations and agreements, Istanbul Gelisim University's international presence is expected to further strengthen.
