To The New Potential Collaborations With Gastronomy



İstanbul Gelisim University Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department is setting sail for new collaborations. In 31 March 2022 an online meeting was held by Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and Erasmus Office with Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian,Spain.

İstanbul Gelisim University’s Coordinator of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Departments  Assoc. Prof. and  Secretary General Serdar Çöp, Lect.Ramazan İnan, R.A. Gizem Hülağa Kaderoğlu, Erasmus Office Coordinator Alisa Usubova and Bileteral Agreement Responsible Hazal Emir participated in meeting.In the meeting, a productive and beneficial meeting was held with Haizea Aranzabal , Responsible Person for Proffesional Courses. At the first part of the meeting, Erasmus Office made a presentation about university’s publicity. In the second part of the meeting, R.A. Gizem Hülağa Kaderoğlu made a productive and revelator presentation about Gastronomy And Culinary Arts Department.In the meeting, Haizea Aranzabal was so impressed by the university and she stated that she would be very happy about collaboration and she is eager to make it happen. Discussions were held with Basque Culinary Center on Erasmus bileteral program,student internship program,bileteral cooperation.

During the meeting, Erasmus Office Coordinator Alisa Usubova stated that it would be more beneficial to make the arrangements face to face with Basque Culianry Center.For this reason it is decided that  our teachers should visit Basque Culinary Center. Haizea Aranzabal stated that she would love to have them as visitors and she would be in contact with our teachers.

Thanks to collaboration in several fields, it is expected that this meeting will contribute to the development of existing Bilateral Relations and create significant opportunities for both institutions.
