Istanbul Gelisim University continues its determination to achieve its goal of becoming a strong university in the international arena. A meeting was held with Almaty Technological University, which joined our partner universities in recent months, on January 29, 2024, to discuss potential student and staff mobility opportunities.

The meeting started with the participants introducing their universities to each other. Madina Aliyarova and Adbraimova Diana from Almaty Technological University and Asst. Prof. Mehmet Bentürk, Bilateral Agreements Officer Murat Emre Şensoy and UDİO-K Specialist Duygu Can from Istanbul Gelişim University attended the meeting and represented their institutions.

During the meeting, after the introduction of the universities and their departments, new agreements were discussed to increase student and staff mobility. The participants exchanged information about their previous mobility programs and identified the first steps to be taken to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to prepare a new agreement enabling student and staff mobility and to expand the cooperation between the two universities. Following this decision, the preparation processes for the agreement were initiated.

As the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, we continue to expand the academic borders of our university and work with determination towards the goal of becoming an international university by realizing new agreements and meetings every week.
