Bulgaria Continues to Prefer IGU within the Scope of Erasmus+ Mobility

As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program, we hosted staff from St. Syril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnova and Todor Kableshkov University of Transport Sofia at our university.

In addition to hosting several staff from Bulgaria, we also received great interest from our partner institutions in Bulgaria within the scope of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program.

A presentation introducing our university was given to Emiliyan Petkov and Teodor Kalushkov from St. Syril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnova, and the questions they had about our university were answered by Hazal Emir, the IECO Specialist, and Duygu Can, the Assistant Specialist. On the same day, the incoming staff actively participated in Assist. Prof. Dr Samuel Moveh's lecture in the Aeronautical Engineering department delivered the lesson to our students in a practical and applied manner. Our engineering faculty students showed great interest in this interactive lecture, which took place with the participation of our guest professors. Following the lecture, a campus tour which organized by Assistant Specialist Duygu Can was held and the eximious places of our university were introduced.

We hosted Logistics Department Prof. Dr. Mirena Todorova and Assist. Prof. Dr. Violina Velyova from another popular Bulgarian university, Todor Kableshkov University of Transport Sofia, is in our office. First of all, Prof. Dr. Mirena Todorova attended the Logistics Planning and Modeling course of our Logistics Management Assist. Prof. Dr. Lecturer Biray Koçak, and shared her in-depth knowledge with our students. Right after Mirena Todorova's lecture, a meeting was organized by Hazal Emir, the IECO Specialist, and Duygu Can, the Assistant Specialist, where we could have discussions about Gelişim University and Todor Kableshkov University. Our staff completed their activities with the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Violina Velyova in the Supply Chain Management lecture.

As the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, we are extremely pleased with the significant demand for mobility from Bulgaria and our other partner universities under the Erasmus+ Mobility program.
