A NEW ERASMUS+ EXPERIENCE FROM A NEW TEACHER


This week, a new assistant professor in our university shared her Erasmus+ experience with us.


This new week, a new assistant professor of Istanbul Gelisim University shared her Erasmus+ experience with us. Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School Civil Aviation Transportation Management department’s Assistant Professor Demet Ozcan Bicici visited one of our partner universities Suceava Stefan Cel Mare University in Romania within the scope of Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility.
In the first day of her visit, Demet Ozcan Bicici tour around university in detail and witnessed university’s graduation ceremony. She also met with university’s Erasmus institutional coordinator and other colleagues who are doing their Erasmus Mobility. She and Erasmus institutional coordinator went to a trip and they look around Romania’s historical monastery.
After this beautiful trip, Demet Ozcan Bicici visited Suceava Castle and Bucovina Village Museum with the advice of Erasmus institutional coordinator Angela Albu. Demet Ozcan Bicici catched the oppurtunity to taste Romanian traditional cuisine there, after these cultural activities she attended a meeting in receiving university. In this meeting, every participant from other university from worldwide promote their own university.
On the last leg of the trip, Demet Ozcan Bicici wanted to visit different parts of Romania and went to Cluj city by train and visited the whole territory. Secondly she visited Simion Barnutiu Central Park, in addition, she was very affected about Romania’s natural beauty. Last of all, she visited Alexandru Borza Botanik Park and had a great staff mobility.
Every day, Erasmus+ Programme is gaining new participants from our students, our teachers and administrative staffs. Every participant who is attending Erasmus+ programme gaining new experiences from other cultures and gives them new perspectives about World around them. Evert participant of the Erasmus+ programme is thanking to Istanbul Gelisim University’s Erasmus Office about their hard work and affinity. Erasmus+ Adventures will continue.
