2024 Project Year Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Application Results

2024 Project Year Erasmus+ Internship Mobility application results have been announced.

2024 Project Year (2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195912) Erasmus+ Internship Mobility application results have been announced.

Evaluation Method of Applications

2024 Project Year Erasmus+ Internship Mobility lists were created by ranking the students among themselves within each Faculty / School / Institute according to the Erasmus+ General Total Points calculated by taking 50% of the Foreign Language Grade and 50% of the Grade Point Average (GPA) of the students who applied for Erasmus+ Study Mobility (the current GPA of the students was taken into consideration until the application deadline). For the 2024 project year, the number of grant quotas allocated to us by the Turkish National Agency is 25 and varies from the estimated number of announced quotas.  Of the quota, 80% is allocated to faculties and 20% to institutes and schools. During the evaluation of the applications, to ensure fair, transparent and equal distribution, the total quota was determined by taking into account the number of programs of the faculty/institute/school, and the total quotas determined for the relevant units were distributed within the faculty/institute/school itself, taking into account the number of Turkish and English departments.

2024 evaluations were made taking into account the selection criteria in the National Agency Implementation Handbook. Click here to access the Selection Criteria.

Erasmus+ Total Score must be at least 60 points in order to be successful in the Erasmus+ Internship Mobility. Students with an Erasmus+ Total Score below 60 are considered as failed.

Students Who are on the Main List should follow the process below:

The students on the Main List are required to inform the International Exchange and Cooperation Office by e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) in writing whether they will benefit from the program between 18.07.2024-24.07.2024.

If there are those who waive their rights among the students on the Main List, they must fill out a Waiver Petition  until 24.07.2024 and submit it to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office via e-mail. Click here for the Waiver Petition.

Students who do not declare whether they will benefit from mobility until 24.07.2024 will be deemed to have waived their rights and -10 points will be deducted from the total success grade in the next Erasmus + Mobility applications unless they show a force majeure.

Students Who are on the Backup List should follow the process below:
Students on the Backup list can participate in Erasmus+ Internship Mobility without a grant if they wish. Students who wish to participate in the mobility without a grant must submit their Without Grant Participation Petition to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office by hand or by e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) by 24.07.2024. Click here for the Petition without Grant Participation.

If there are those who waive their rights among the students on the main list, the candidate who is studying in the same Faculty / School / Institute as the candidate who has given up will be given a place among the candidates with the highest score on the Main list. If there is no student from the relevant faculty, a student will be selected according to the highest score ranking in the Backup list.

Even if the student on the Backup List starts his/her mobility without a grant, the student will participate in the mobility with a grant if there is a withdrawal in the Main List and the student who participates without a grant comes next.

Non-grant participation petition is for those who want to participate in the mobility even if they are not in line for grant participation. If the applicant submits a non-grant application and declines to participate in the mobility without showing a force majeure reason, -10 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus+ application.

Note: You can perform your Erasmus+ Internship Mobility until 31/07/2026. Our students who are in graduation status must realise their mobility within 12 months after graduation. Otherwise, their mobility will be deemed invalid.

Orientation Program
An Orientation Programme will be organised for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. A detailed information about the mobility process will be given in the orientation program. It is compulsory for all students who are on the original list and those who are on the backup list and submit a non-grant application to attend the Erasmus Orientation Programme. Students who do not attend the programme without showing a force majeure reason will be deducted -5 points from their next Erasmus applications. Details about the Orientation Program will be shared with the students later.

Students are obliged to check their e-mails frequently, to follow all announcements published by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and to be in contact with the coordinatorship. Otherwise, the student is responsible for any problems that may occur (for example, not checking his/her e-mail and missing the application date, not reading the announcements and not being aware of any developments, etc.).

Result List

Students who have objections to the application results can send their objection petitions via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 17.07.2024 at 17.30.  Petitions of objection sent after the specified date will not be accepted and the petitions must be signed. Petitions will be evaluated and positive or negative feedback will be made.
