2023 Project Year (2023-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000117251) Erasmus+ Study Mobility Application Results Have Been Announced.
Evaluation Method of Applications
The Lists were created according to the Erasmus+ Grand Total Scores calculated by taking 50% of the Foreign Language Score and 50% of the General Academic Grade Point Average (GANO) of the students (the current GPA of the students formed until the application deadline has been taken into account) who applied for the 2023 Project Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility and ranked among themselves within each Faculty/ School/ Institute.
The quotas were distributed on the basis of Faculty/School/Institute, taking into account the Turkish and English departments.
In order to be successful in Erasmus+ Study Mobility, the Erasmus+ Grand Total Score must be at least 60 points. Students with an Erasmus+ Grand Total Score below 60 are considered failed.
Students who are on the Main List should follow the process below:
-
Students in the Main List must notify the International Exchange and Cooperation Office in writing by e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) whether they will benefit from the program or not between 04.09.2023-08.09.2023.
-
In case of release from the students who are on the Main List, they must fill in a Petition of Releasing and submit it to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office by hand or via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) by 08.09.2023. Click for the Petition of Releasing Letter.
-
Students who do not declare whether they will benefit from the mobility or not until 08.09.2023 will be deemed to have released their rights and if they do not show a force majeure, -10 points will be deducted from the Erasmus+ total grade in their next Erasmus+ Mobility applications.
Attention: Students who are eligible for Erasmus+ Study Mobility will be able to participate in the mobility in the 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring semester or the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall semester.
Students who are on the Backup List:
-
Students on the backup list can participate in Erasmus+ Mobility without a grant, if they would like, within the university quota. Students who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant should send Without Grant Participation Petitions to the Erasmus Office by hand or via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 08.09.2023. Click here for the Without Grant Participation Petition.
-
Students who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant will be able to participate in the mobility if the universities have a quota by evaluating the application petitions for participation without the grant.
-
In case of waiver from the students in the Main List, the candidate who is studying at the same Faculty/School/Institute with the highest score in the backup list will be entitled to participate with a grant. If there is no student on the relevant faculty backup list, the student with the highest score on the backup list from all faculties/Institutes/Schools will be selected.
-
Even if the student in the Backup List starts the mobility without a grant if there is a student who waives in the Main List and the - turn comes to the student who participates without a grant, the student will participate in the mobility with a grant.
-
Even if the student does not submit a petition for participation without a grant, they will be able to benefit from the mobility with a grant when the turn comes to the student from the backup list.
-
The petition for participation without a grant is for those who would like to participate in the mobility even if the turn does not come to the student to participate with a grant. -10 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus application if the applicant submits a petition for participation without a grant and gives up participating in the mobility without showing a force majeure reason.
University Placements to be Hosted:
-
Students who are entitled to mobility cannot participate in the mobility if they do not have a course load of 30 ECTS (minimum 20 ECTS in force majeure). The institution cannot be held responsible if the applications of the candidates who will participate in the mobility are not accepted by the universities they have the right to go to, if the selected university quota is full, or if the application deadlines have passed. In this case, the student is asked to choose another university with which we have an agreement. If no agreement is found or no selection is made, the application will be canceled.
-
Students do not have the right to change the universities they are placed in, except for the cases mentioned above and not caused by them. University change can only be made with the approval of the Erasmus Department Coordinators if the courses do not match or the language of instruction is not in English.
-
Students are responsible for checking their e-mails frequently, following all announcements published by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and keeping in touch with the International Exchange and Cooperation Office. Otherwise, the student is responsible for any problems that may occur (for example, not checking his e-mail and missing the application date, not reading the announcements, not being aware of any developments, etc.).
Orientation Program
An Orientation Program will be organized for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. In the orientation program, detailed information about the mobility process will be given to the students. It is obligatory to attend the Erasmus Orientation Program for all students who are on the Main List and who are on the Backup List and want to participate in the mobility without the grant. -5 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus applications of students who do not participate in the program without showing any force majeure. Details about the Orientation Program will be shared with the students later.
Result Lists
Students who object to the results of their application can send their objection petitions via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 01.09.2023 at 17.30. Objection petitions that were sent after the specified date will not be accepted. Petitions will be evaluated and positive or negative feedback will be given to the students.
