Dear Students,
The grant distribution results for the 2021 Erasmus+ Student and Staff Mobility in Higher Education (KA131) activity have been announced by the Turkish National Agency.
As stated by Turkish National Agency: “The signature process of the delegation agreement between the Turkish National Agency and the European Commission for participation in the 2021-2027 new Erasmus+ Program continues. In this respect, the announced grant amounts are of a temporary nature, and there may be changes in these amounts following the completion of the official process.”
Considering the 2021 budgets of the institutions and the distribution of the grants, it is seen that there is a significant decrease in the grants of all universities compared to the previous years. The amount of the grant that was declared to be allocated to Istanbul Gelisim University, remained below the requested amount and decreased significantly.
The process regarding the transparent distribution of the budget allocated to our institution within the scope of the Erasmus program is carried out meticulously. The quotas announced within the framework of Erasmus studying and internship mobility, based on the quotas of the previous year, remained well above the amount of grant provided, and this situation necessitated a reorganization of the granting processes. In this direction, 3-month grant support will be provided for our students who will carry out mobility within the scope of learning mobility, regardless of the mobility period.
Since the signature process of the delegation agreement between the Turkish National Agency and the European Commission for participation in the 2021-2027 New Erasmus+ Program has not been completed, there is no clear date for the grant payments. Grant payments can only be made after the delegation agreement is signed and the grant amounts are transferred to our university's account. We would like to emphasize that the delays regarding the process are not caused by Istanbul Gelisim University and are not specific to our institution.
The European Commission, Turkish National Agency and Istanbul Gelisim University are not responsible for delays that may occur in the official procedures regarding the participation process to the new Erasmus+ Program (2021-2027) or any subsequent changes in grant amounts.
If there are students who want to release from the main list, they must fill in the
release petition by
01.10.2021 and send an e-mail to erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr. Students who release within the specified date will not be given -10 points in their next application.
Students who were previously on the main list, however the currently published list in the backup list, and who do not want to participate in the mobility without a grant, should notify the Erasmus Office with a petition until 01.10.2021.

NOTE: This year the monthly grant amount for I. and II. group countries is 600 Euro, III. group countries grant amount is 450 Euro per month. In this direction, the total grant is calculated for the I. and II. group countries for 3-month as 1.800 Euros, III. group countries as 1,350 Euros.
