Istanbul Gelisim University Attracted Great Attention This Year Within The Scope Of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility


International Exchange and Cooperation Office hosted a total of 36 guests from 10 different countries in April and May. These guests participated in various mobility activities at our university as part of the Erasmus+ program.



We hosted our partner Catarina Lopes from ISAG University in Portugal within the scope of Erasmus+ Training Mobility. Catarina Lopes was the first staff member to visit our university in April as part of staff mobility.

As part of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility, we hosted Agne Slapsinskaite Dackeviciene from Lithuanian partner "Lithuanian University of Health Sciences" and Simona Daciana Birsan from Romanian partner "University of Oradea" at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Agne Slapsinskaite Dackeviciene attended the academic discussion meeting with the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department, while Birsan was giving lectures with Assoc. Prof . Arda Öztürkcan. Our partner in Poland, Aleksandra Klimkiewicz and Marcin Trendowicz from the "University of Gdansk", were the other staff who visited our university as part of the Teaching Mobility. Klimkiewicz and Trendowicz visited Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School and gave lectures in Applied Russian and Translation.

Within the scope of Erasmus+ Teaching mobility, we hosted staff from Bulgaria "Todor Kableshkov" University of Transport Sofia" and "St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. The incoming staff visited the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and gave various lectures on various subjects. At the same time, we hosted staff from our partners in Bulgaria "Todor Kableshkov" the University of Transport Sofia and "The University of Ruse". The incoming staff visited our university's Accounting Unit, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and held meetings.

We hosted Denis Ibadula from "Ovidius University of Constanta", our partner in Romania, as part of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility. Denis Ibadula gave a seminar at the Faculty of Engineering.

Within the scope of Erasmus+ Training Mobility, we hosted Yasin Şaban from our partner in North Macedonia, "International Vision University". Yasin Şaban visited the Accounting department and held meetings.

We hosted Mihaela Skrlj Brglez from our partner "Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor" in Slovenia at our university. Mihaela Skrlj Brglez visited the Tourism department and gave lectures on "Sustainable Tourism".

We hosted Gabor Budai, Laszlo Balazs, and Miklos Horvath from our partner "University of Dunaujvaros" in Hungary and Simona Daciana Birsan from "University of Oradea" in Romania. These guests held talks with our different departments, gave lectures, and carried out training activities.

Our partner in Croatia, Edita Mamic from "University of Osijek", and our partner in Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Ismayilov from "UNEC" were among the other guests at our university. While Edita Mamic met with the Secretariat at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Jeyhun Ismayilov held meetings with the Human resources department and evaluated the opportunities for cooperation.

The International Exchange and Cooperation Office continues to strengthen international cooperation and encourage knowledge sharing in the academic field through these mobility programs.
