Erasmus+ Bilateral Agreements are Increasing Day by Day


The bilateral agreements within the scope of Erasmus+, continue to increase. This week, Istanbul Gelisim University Erasmus+ Office signed an agreement with the Vilnius University of Technology and Design in Lithuania.


The number of bilateral agreements continues to increase with Erasmus+ Office’s efforts. Vilnius University of Technology and Design caught the privilege of being partners with Istanbul Gelisim University. If we want to mention our new partner’s specialties, Vilnius University of Technology and Sciences was founded on 1954 in Lithuania. University is one of the biggest applied universities in Lithuania. Vilnius University has three faculties: Civil Engineering Faculty, Technical Faculty and Design Faculty. These faculties involve expert academicians. In addition, the university is very developed in the field of internationalization. In addition to many partners in Lithuania, it has partners from different countries, takes part in international projects and European Higher Institution Organizations.
The city of Vilnius, which the university is involved in is the biggest city and the country’s capital. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) took the city under protection and the city presents great experiences of historical and natural beauty to its citizens and visitors.
Festivals, exhibitions, historical places are exhibited all over the city for Erasmus+ students.
It is clear that the students who carry out their mobility at Vilnius University of Technology and Design will get different experiences.
Istanbul Gelisim University Erasmus+ Office is taking solid steps in the field of internationalization with projects and bilateral agreements.  Every bilateral agreement is a step for the university’s promotion globally.
