2022 Project Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility Application Results

2022 Project Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility Application Results Have Been Announced.

Evaluation Method of Applications

The Lists were created according to the Erasmus+ Grand Total Scores calculated by taking 50% of the Foreign Language Score and 50% of the General Academic Grade Point Average (GANO) of the students who apply for the 2022 Project Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility and ranked among themselves within each Faculty/ School/ Institute.

Evaluations were made taking into account the selection criteria of the 2022 National Agency Applied Guidebook. Please Click to access the Selection Criteria.

In order to be successful in Erasmus+ Study Mobility, the Erasmus+ Grand Total Score must be at least 60 points. Students with an Erasmus+ Grand Total Score below 60 are considered failed.

Students who are on the Main List should follow the process below:
  • Students in the Main List must notify the Erasmus Office in writing by e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) whether they will benefit from the program or not between 08.08.2022-12.08.2022.
  • In case of release from the students who are on the Main List, they must fill in a Petition of Releasing and submit it to the Erasmus Office by hand or via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 12.08.2022. Click for Petition…
  • Students who do not declare whether they will benefit from the mobility or not until 12.08.2022 will be deemed to have released their rights and if they do not show a force majeure, -10 points will be deducted from the Erasmus+ total grade in their next Erasmus+ Mobility applications.

Attention: Students who are eligible for Erasmus+ Study Mobility will be able to participate in the mobility in the 2022-2023 Academic Year Spring semester or 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall semester since the 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall semester application deadlines have passed. Students will be given time to choose a semester.

Students who are on the Main List should follow the process below:
  • Students on the backup list can participate in Erasmus+ Mobility without a grant, if they would like, within the university quota. Students who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant should send Without Grant Participation Petitions to the Erasmus Office by hand or via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 12.08.2022. Click here for the without Grant Participation Petition.
  • Students who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant will be able to participate in the mobility if the universities have a quota by evaluating the application petitions for participation without the grant.
  • In case of waiver from the students in the Main List, the candidate who is studying at the same Faculty/School/Institute with the highest score in the backup list will be entitled to participate with a grant. If there is no student on the relevant faculty backup list, the student with the highest score on the backup list from all faculties/Institutes/Schools will be selected.
  • Even if the student in the Backup List starts the mobility without a grant if there is a student who waives in the Main List and the - turn comes to the student who participates without a grant, the student will participate in the mobility with a grant.
  • Even if the student does not submit a petition for participation without a grant, they will be able to benefit from the mobility with a grant when the turn comes to the student from the backup list.
  • -10 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus application if the applicant submits a petition for participation without a grant and gives up participating in the mobility without showing a force majeure reason.

University Placements to be Hosted:

The institution cannot be held responsible if the applications of the candidates who will participate in the mobility are not accepted by the universities they have the right to go to, if the selected university quota is full or if the application deadlines have passed. In this case, the student is asked to choose another university with which we have an agreement. If no agreement is found or no selection is made, the application will be canceled.

Students do not have the right to change the universities they are placed in, except for the cases mentioned above and not caused by them. University change can only be made with the approval of the Erasmus Department Coordinators if the courses do not match or the language of instruction is not in English.

Students are responsible for checking their e-mails frequently, following all announcements published by Erasmus Office, and keeping in touch with Erasmus Office. Otherwise, the student is responsible for any problems that may occur (for example, not checking his e-mail and missing the application date, not reading the announcements, not being aware of any developments, etc.).

Orientation Program

An  Orientation Program will be organized for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. In the orientation program, detailed information about the mobility process will be given to the students. It is obligatory to attend the Erasmus Orientation Program for all students who are on the Main List and who are on the Backup List and want to participate in the mobility without the grant. -5 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus applications of students who do not participate in the program without showing any force majeure. Details about the Orientation Program will be shared with the students later.
