2019-2020 Academic Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility Evaluation Results

2019-2020 Academic Year (2019-1-TR01-KA103-064561) Erasmus+ Study Mobility Application Results Have Been Announced.

Evaluation Method of Applications
  • According to the Grand Total Scores calculated by taking 50% of the Foreign Language Grade and 50% of the General Academic Grade Point Average (GANO) of the students who applied for the 2019-2020 Academic Year Erasmus+ Learning Mobility, the students were ranked among themselves within each Faculty/ School/ Institute and lists were created.
  • During the calculation of the Grand Total Score, the ranking was made by deducting -10 points from the Grand Total Score of the students who will benefit from the program for the second time, and -20 points from the Grand Total Score of the students who will benefit from the program for the third time, pursuant to the Erasmus Directive.
  • Taking into consideration the 2018-2019 Academic Year Erasmus+ Study Mobility quotas, the lists of Main and Reserved List students have been created.
  • In order to be successful in Erasmus+ Study Mobility, the Grand Total Score must be a minimum of 60 points. Students with a Grand Total Score below 60 are considered unsuccessful.

What to do for Students in the Main List
  • The grant status of the students who are eligible to enter the Main List will be finalized after the grants and quotas for the 2019-2020 Academic Year Erasmus+ Learning Mobility are allocated to our University by the Turkish National Agency.
  • Students in the Main List are required to sign a Commitment and submit it to the Erasmus Office in order to avoid any loss of rights since the grant status is finalized in August. Click for the Commitment…
  • Students in the Main List must notify the Erasmus Office in writing whether they will benefit from the program by 10.05.2019.
  • In case of waivers from the students included in the Main List, they must fill in the Waiver Petition dated 10.05.2019 and submit it to the Erasmus Office. Click for Waiver Petition…
  • Students who do not declare whether they will benefit from the mobility or not until 10.05.2019 will be deemed to have waived their rights and if they do not show a force majeure, -10 points will be deducted from the total success grade in their next Erasmus+ Mobility applications.
  • Students who are entitled to participate in mobility for the Fall and Spring semesters, that is, for 2 semesters, are entitled to receive a grant for only 1 semester.

What to do for Students on the Reserve List
Students on the reserve list can participate in Erasmus+ Mobility without a grant, if they wish, within the university quota. Students who want to participate in the mobility without a grant should come to the Erasmus Office by 10.05.2019 and submit their Non-Grant Participation Petitions. Click here for the Participation Without Grant Petition.
In case of waivers from the students in the Main List, the candidate with the highest score in the reserve list will be included in the candidate who is studying at the same Faculty/School/Institute with the candidate who gave up. If there is no student from the relevant faculty, the student will be selected according to the highest score in the reserve list.
Even if the student in the Reserve List starts the mobility without a grant, if the student gives up in the Main List and the turn comes to the student who participated without a grant, the student will participate in the mobility with a grant.

University Placements to be Hosted
  • If the applications of the candidates who will participate in the mobility are not accepted by the universities they have won, the quota is full or the application deadlines have passed, the student will be asked to choose another university with which we have an agreement, and if no selection is made, the application will be canceled.
  • Students do not have the right to change the universities they are placed in, except for the cases mentioned above and not caused by them. University change can only be made with the approval of the Erasmus Department Coordinators if the course does not match or the language of instruction is not English.
